CM Punk was all over the opening segment of Monday Night RAW, and in the immediate aftermath of the chaos, he got a surprising name as his new tag team partner for one night following his World title win.

For some context, CM Punk's opening segment on RAW was interrupted by Logan Paul, whom Punk wanted nothing to do with. The hilarious part was that Punk was busy listing potential challengers such as Dominik Mysterio, AJ Styles, JD McDonagh, etc, and when Logan Paul came out, Punk said, "anybody but you". Eventually, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed hijacked the segment, taking out Logan Paul. Punk managed to drive them away with a steel chair.

Backstage, CM Punk was confronted by his Saturday Night's Main Event opponent, Jey Uso, whom he said he has respect for and who he believes lives up to his "Main Event" moniker. While Jey wasn't happy about losing his World Title match at SNME, he offered to help Punk against The Vision, and this set them up to be tag team partners for one night only on RAW.

What was interesting was also the fact that during the opening segment, Logan Paul's face turn was teased. As for Jey Uso, he received quite a bit of criticism for his performance in the SNME headliner, especially one particular spot where a backbreaker was botched, leaving Punk visibly angry with him.

However, from the look of things, Punk has zero ill will towards Jey Uso as of the end of SNME. It seems fair that he has nothing against him as they had a solid match with the better man coming out the victor. For now, Punk's immediate focus will be The Vision, who have been a constant thorn on his side in the last few months on RAW.
