CM Punk botches major part of promo on WWE RAW

CM Punk returned to WWE RAW last night and was finally able to address the comments made by Bron Breakker the week before.

Breakker had gotten personal with his own promo and even claimed that he would take CM Punk's wife after he took his title.

Punk obviously wasn't impressed with this comment and made it clear that Breakker should keep his wife's "name out of his mouth," but the issue here is the fact that Breakker never actually addressed AJ Lee by name.

Infact, Breakker hasn't been known to talk about AJ Lee by name at all, which begs the question of why Punk tried to frame his promo that way.

Punk tried to attack Breakker with a chair this week on WWE RAW, but after Rey Mysterio was attacked by a masked star who was later revealed to be Austin Theory, Punk was the victim of another brutal attack.

CM Punk defends his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on January 5th

Punk takes on Bron Breakker on January 5th on the first episode of WWE RAW in 2026 and will defend his World Championship. It could be a massive match in the career of Breakker, and after recent events, it seems that many fans believe Breakker could come out on top.

Now that Austin Theory also appears to be on the side of The Vision, it means that Punk will walk into the match alone, whilst Breakker has Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman, Logan Paul and Austin Theory as backup.

Last night, the numbers game was too much for Punk to overcome, but the story may be different on January 5th when the World Championship is on the line and CM Punk is ready to do battle with Breakker, who is considered to be the future of WWE.
