SAN JOSE, Calif. — CloudWerx (“CWX”), an award-winning Google Cloud Premier Partner and leading provider of agentic AI solutions for the world’s most highly regulated enterprises, today announced that its Board of Directors appointed Ahmed Shama as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 10, 2026.

With more than fifteen years of experience in the technology consulting sector, Ahmed has established a distinguished history of recognizing and executing on pivotal technological shifts ahead of the curve. While at Google, he was responsible for some of the most important and highest transacting partners in the Google Cloud ecosystem and successfully finalized one of the largest partner commitments in the ecosystem’s history. Previously, during his tenure at Slalom Consulting, he managed the cloud and DevOps strategy and transformation practices, which were instrumental in driving transformational impact for their largest customers. There, he pioneered the initial cloud enablement, DevOps, and security practices, scaling it from its origin into a robust organization of specialized architects, engineers, and practice leaders.
