Corey Kluber is back.
Well, sort of.
The Cleveland baseball legend has signed a deal with the Guardians, but he won't be pitching. Instead, he'll be helping the current pitching staff.
Kluber's official title: Special Assistant, Pitchers.
The man known in his playing days as 'Klubot' can now pass his wisdom on to the next generation.
He was one of the more improbable Cy Young winners ever.
Kluber was toiling in the minor leagues before getting sent to Cleveland as a trade throw-in.
The then-Indians revamped Kluber's arsenal and approach and turned him into a superstar.

Kluber went on to win not one but two Cy Youngs.
He pitched 13 years in the majors, including nine for Cleveland.
He won 98 games and had a 3.16 ERA for Cleveland before closing out his career with individual seasons in Texas, the Bronx, Tampa Bay and Boston.
Kluber's overall role isn't set in stone given the flexibility that his title seemingly allows for.
But any pitcher could benefit from Kluber's knowledge on how to become the best pitching version of oneself.
