Ciara is pregnant, expecting baby No. 5 with Russell Wilson

Ciara and Russell Wilson are expanding their family! The couple is welcoming their fifth child together.

The couple, who have been married since 2016, shared the exciting news on social media on Sept. 6. They shared a video with a nostalgic film aesthetic of Ciara putting a baby shirt on a clothesline in their backyard. She wore her hair in rollers with a white tank top and blue jeans as she showed off her growing baby bump. Towards the end of the clip, she puts her hand up to the camera to reference the couple welcoming their fifth baby. 

In the second video clip, Russell enters and also puts his hands up, with the former NFL star wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and black sunglasses as they both smile at the camera. 

The carousel post shared a short video of their youngest daughter sitting on the grass holding up a film camera and some digital solo shots of the Grammy-winning singer near the clothesline with a huge smile on her face.

"One more person to Love," the couple captioned the joint post on Instagram.

Russell Wilson and Ciara's family

The couple shares four children: Future Zahir (Ciara's son from a previous relationship with rapper Future), Sienna Princess, Win Harrison, and Amora Princess. Russell and Ciara said "I do" in England in 2017.

Ciara recently shared that after welcoming Amora in December 2023, the Super Bowl champion asked about wanting baby No. 5. 

“I will tell you, when I was giving birth to Amora, that was our fourth baby, he was like shortly after, ‘So, cinco?’ and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute now, like slow it down, sir. We just had a baby here. Let’s be in this moment here, sir.’” Ciara told Us Weekly earlier this month. 

The baby announcement follows the couple celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary in July, days after they attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding in New York City. 

“Since the first day we met…we haven’t stopped laughing, dancing, dating, holding hands, being passionate, praying, forgiving, and having the best time of our lives! I remember saying Yes like it was yesterday, and I would say Yes all over again!” Ciara wrote in a caption on Instagram. 

She added, “Happy 10 Year Anniversary @DangeRussWilson. I’m so proud of us. I love you soooo much!”
