The 49ers have surely felt some discomfort adjusting to the massive time change from California to Melbourne, Australia.
But star running back Christian McCaffrey’s wife, Olivia Culpo, will not want to hear any complaints about jet lag, given what her own body is going through.
Culpo is deep into pregnancy with her and McCaffrey’s second child. The couple announced the pregnancy in early May, and all indications are that the baby will be born at some point in the fall.
Culpo’s most recent Instagram post left no doubt she’s ready for that baby to arrive. She posted a selfie wearing a gray dress that showed her massive baby bump, with her daughter, Colette, basically balancing on Culpo’s stomach.
“I can confirm this is as uncomfortable as it looks,” the post’s caption read.
Several of the 49ers’ most prominent WAGs (such as Kristin Juszczyk and Claire Kittle) followed their husbands to Australia to watch Thursday’s game against the Rams in person.
But Culpo is not in any state to fly across the world and will therefore watch the 49ers’ season opener from the comfort of her home.
Then again, it doesn’t look like Culpo will be able to find comfort anywhere right now, even in her own home.
