Chrissy Teigen's 2-Year-Old Daughter Gets Stitches After Chin Injury
Chrissy Teigen has experienced a holiday mishap.
The Cravings author shared how she ended up losing one of her teeth while attempting to help her and John Legend’s kids—Luna, 9, Miles, 7, Esti, 2, and Wren, 2—“grow" candy canes for the holiday season. (A process involving the kids plotting Oreo crumbs and Chrissy popping in the treats overnight).
In a video shared on Instagram Dec. 21, Chrissy documented the beginning of their journey as she helped her four kids pot mini candy canes. While attempting to swap them out for even bigger ones, the 40-year-old experienced a less-than-ideal outcome.
“I’m working on candy cane growing,” she told the camera. “And tried to open one of these bad boys—my tooth fell off.”
Flashing a smile for the camera and showcasing the missing tooth, Chrissy added, “It’s a veneer. I have the whole piece. This is what moms do for their kids so that you can think you grew a candy cane.”
“I tried to create magic,” she quipped, adding of her kids’ recital, “Now I have no tooth and tomorrow’s the winter sing.”
Chrissy also shared a glimpse at their recital as she held Wren while eating another candy cane, captioning the clip, “Had to go to the recital like this.”
The Chrissy’s Court star didn’t let the missing tooth put a damper on her holiday season as she shared a series of pictures flashing her grin for the camera and showing off the finished candy cane project.

As for John, he reacted to his wife of 12 years’ video by commenting a series of laughing emojis.
However, all is well again, as Chrissy then shared a video of her dentist installing the replacement veneer to her Instagram Story. Wrapping up the saga, Chrissy shared one final toothless selfie alongside Luna, writing, “Was cool to say hi to my old tooth for a while hiii old tooth!.”
Current mishaps aside, Chrissy and John’s house is alwayseventful. Indeed, the “All of Me” singer previously described the couple’s life at home.
"Having all that energy, love and laughter in the house is beautiful,” John told E! News in September. "Everybody's walking. Everybody's talking."
"We're fortunate that three of them are now at the same school, so it makes drop-off and pick-up a little easier," the 46-year-old added. "It's chaotic, but it's a nice kind of chaos."
