Chris Cuomo slams Democrats after Israeli Embassy staffers killed in DC: ‘Mind your dogs’

Left-leaning NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo blasted the Democratic Party for ignoring the threat of Islamist extremism in the US while remaining singularly focused on demonizing President Donald Trump.

Cuomo made the stunning accusation a day after two Israeli Embassy employees, a young couple, were killed in cold blood allegedly by pro-Palestinian terrorist Elias Rodriguez in Washington, D.C.

“Democrats, my brothers and sisters, I understand why you’re worried about Trump. I understand why you call him an ultimate evil, but I don’t agree. And if you want the ultimate evil, look at the Islamists, the extreme ones in America, not just Muslims, and mind your dogs who are doing their bidding,” the host of “Cuomo” railed on his primetime show Wednesday.

NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo delivered a blistering critique of the Democratic Party this week.

“We know the shooter is a far-left activist,” Cuomo added. “Caught on camera shouting ‘free Palestine,’ and as he was arrested, he kept chanting the slogan and said, ‘I did it for Gaza.’”

“So why the F are all these people on the left saying ‘if true’? And ‘if that’s who he is’ and ‘if he’s not an IDF plant’ and you don’t want any of the blame for what just happened on you?”

Cuomo also argued that the suspect “has been conditioned to identify with the oppression in Gaza as if he’s one of them.”

“There are so many like him here and in our families, on our campuses,” he added.

Highlighting the spread of extremist ideology, the former CNN anchor referenced online reactions that praised the embassy shooter and likened them to past incidents of radical violence.

“It’s the same thing I’ve heard in Iraq and Afghanistan, but now echoing from Indiana,” he said.

“This is not a one-off. It’s just one more of what we choose to ignore,” Cuomo warned, citing the 2025 truck attack in New Orleans by US-born extremist Shamsud-Din Jabbar.

Cuomo was careful to distinguish between Muslims and extremists, saying he was not “demonizing an entire faith.”

However, he went on to criticize lawmakers for backing what he termed “Islamic residential development” in Texas, claiming the project’s leader had “openly defended” the Hamas-led Oct. 7 assault on Israel.

He concluded by citing the presence of the Muslim Student Association in pro-Palestine university protests, asserting it “was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood.”
