Chloe Kim reacts to rumor she was behind boyfriend Myles Garrett's Rams trade

Chloe Kim is denying rumors that she had anything to do with her boyfriend Myles Garrett's trade from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams.

The Olympian poked fun at the rumor in a TikTok video that she orchestrated the trade on June 1.

“What I said in my big NFL meetings to orchestrate this entire trade with all the power I apparently hold because I snowboard sometimes and have cute medals,” she wrote over the video.

I’ve been giggling at these rumors the last couple of days because you guys are giving me TOO MUCH CREDIT I found out right before it was publicized and was planning to show up and support him wherever he ended up. But I genuinely can’t believe this is happening and am so excited to show him around my city. Go Rams!

Kim was referencing the viral meme, “What would happen if you just called Taylor up?” which is from Kanye West's infamous beef with Taylor Swift. In an 2016 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, asks Kim to call Swift to clear up Kanye's beef with the singer.  

She gave more of her response in the caption, writing,  “I’ve been giggling at these rumors the last couple of days because you guys are giving me TOO MUCH CREDIT. I found out right before it was publicized and was planning to show up and support him wherever he ended up. But I genuinely can’t believe this is happening and am so excited to show him around my city. Go Rams!"

Myles Garrett shares message to Cleveland after Rams trade

After the announcement of the trade was made, Garrett penned a heartfelt message to Cleveland, where he spent nine seasons of his NFL career. 

"Cleveland made me tougher. You challenged me. You taught me about perseverance, about showing up even when things aren't easy, and what loyalty really looks like," Garrett wrote in his letter to Cleveland, which he posted to his Instagram.

"What I can say with complete honesty is this: I gave this city everything I had. I suited up and wore those colors with pride, and I don't regret a second of being part of this storied franchise," he continued.

He ended his letter by thanking Cleveland for "letting me grow here" and "believing in" him. 

Kim supported her boyfriend by "liking" the post and sharing it onto her Instagram Story. 

The NFL star and Olympian went public with their relationship in November 2025 after they were spotted together at the May 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan.
