China’s Communist party on Tuesday released a bombastic propaganda video in which it vowed “never to kneel down” to President Trump’s tariff war.
Beijing also tried to coax the rest of the world to stand with them against the United States.
The dramatic clip — blasted out by Chinese Foreign Ministry on X and amplified by the country’s troves of propagandists on social media — accused the Trump administration of bullying tactics and insisted China wouldn’t negotiate after Trump hit Chinese exports with massive tariffs.
“China won’t back down so the voices of the weak will be heard… When the rest of the world stands together in solidarity, the US is just a small stranded boat,” an English voice-over declared in the video, which appeared to be at least partially AI generated.
“Someone has to step forward, torch in hand, to shatter the fog and illuminate the path ahead.”
Elsewhere, Beijing said that “bowing to a bully is like drinking poison to quench a thirst.”
“History has proven compromise won’t earn you mercy — kneeling only invites more bullying,” the video continued. “For China, for the world, we must rise and fight on.”
