The Kansas City Chiefs could definitely use Xavier Worthy back on the field.
The speedy wide receiver was hurt on the third offensive snap of the season in a collision with Travis Kelce, dislocating his shoulder.
Worthy missed the rest of Week 1 and then didn't play in Week 2.
He's trying to get back for Week 3, and things have at least moved in the right direction. He practiced on Friday ahead of the Chiefs' Sunday Night Football meeting with the New York Giants.

But after Friday's practice, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was still noncommital.
ESPN's Nate Taylor reports Reid said "we'll see how it goes" about Worthy playing Sunday.
The Chiefs are already without WR Rashee Rice due to a six-game suspension, so missing Worthy too has been tough.

Kansas City might actually get doubly good wide receiver news, too. Rookie Jalen Royals practiced Friday and may be in line for his NFL debut on Sunday night.
The Chiefs, at 0-2, can't afford to wait around too long. They've got to take care of business against the Giants, and a Worthy return would be a great help to that cause.
