The Kansas City Chiefs might officially be back after their 31-0 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, and Patrick Mahomes might once again be the architect of the league's best offense.
Well, that is what the Chiefs looked like on Sunday as the unit steamrolled through a poor Raiders defense, and such was Kansas City's domination that, in the fourth quarter, not a single pass was thrown.
Yeah, you read that right.
For ESPN's Nate Taylor, the entire NFL is on notice due to how easily the Chiefs' offense ran through Las Vegas.
"There will be greater challenges ahead for Kansas City, for sure. Sunday's domination of the Raiders, though, should be a full warning sign," Taylor wrote. "With No. 1 receiver Rashee Rice back on the field, quarterback Patrick Mahomes had plenty of answers regardless of what the Raiders tried. He completed a pass to nine different teammates before the end of the third quarter.
"Entering Sunday, the Chiefs averaged 31.6 points in their past three games. Kansas City needed just 43 minutes -- and five possessions -- to score 31 points on the Raiders."

Chiefs can become No. 1 offense in football
The final piece of Mahomes' offensive gauntlet returned against the Raiders to complete the unit and look at how it turned out.
Yes, it's just one game, but the bar for this offense is incredibly high.
With Rice, Xavier Worthy, Marquise Brown, Travis Kelce, Tyquan Thornton, Juju Smith-Schuster, Kareem Hunt, Isiah Pacheco, and Brashard Smith, that is quite the group of weapons for Mahomes. Plus, in the last four games, the Chiefs have scored at least 28 points after not scoring more than 22 in a game in the first three weeks.
The potential is easy to see, and when the Chiefs play the way they did against Las Vegas, this team is seriously dangerous.
Do the Chiefs have one of the best offenses in football? You might be hard-pressed to find people who think they don't.
