Chelsea star believes he can refind his best form at the club

Following the summer arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, Nicolas Jackson has been strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are not thought to be pushing the 24-year-old out of the club, though, so there is a possibility that he remains in west London.

If Jackson does, the Senegal international is convinced that he can refind his best form for the club.

Jackson started the 2024/25 season very strongly. In his first five Premier League games, he scored four goals.

However, he failed to maintain that consistency in front of goal as the season went on and also faced disciplinary problems towards the end of the campaign.

He was sent off towards the end of the season against Newcastle United and also picked up another red card in the recently concluded Club World Cup.

Why Jackson’s future is not in his hands

The youngster’s recent performances have been a concern for the Blues for a while now.

However, according to journalist Rahman Osman, Jackson believes he will rediscover his best form at Chelseanext season if he remains there.

But Jackson staying at Stamford Bridge is not completely in his hands as it depends on the kind of what guarantees Enzo Maresca is willing to give him.

With Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both at the club now, the former Villarreal man is no longer an automatic starter.
