Where Nicolas Jackson will be playing his football next season is anybody’s guess as he continues to be linked with a move away from Chelsea.
The Senegal international striker has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge since the arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer.
Jackson has been linked with a number of clubs, but is said to prefer remaining in the Premier League, so that narrows down his possible destinations.
Manchester United were one of the clubs linked with a possible move for Jackson, but they have signed Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig instead, so that should end their interest in Jackson.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are the other two Premier League clubs linked with a move for the striker.
While Jackson would reportedly love to reunite with his former manager, Unai Emery, at Villa, Frank Lebouf has a word of advice for Newcastle United signing Jackson.

Frank Lebouf believes that Newcastle United should avoid signing Nicolas Jackson
Newcastle United have had a disastrous transfer window so far, after missing out on all their transfer targets, except Anthony Elanga.
The Magpies are trying to stop Alexander Isak from leaving the club, but that is easier said than done since the player has his heart set on a move to Liverpool.

If Isak does go on to leave the club, Jackson could become a potential target for Newcastle United, but Frank Lebouf believes that the club should not sign the player.
When discussing the idea of Jackson joining Newcastle, Leboeuf told ESPN: “I don’t think he’s going to fill the hopes that the Geordies have for this season in the Champions League. I have big doubts about his potential to make people forget [Alexander] Isak if Isak has to go. I was expecting somebody else.”
Lebouf is perhaps right in his assessment of Jackson in the sense that the Senegalese international is not as good as Isak. More importantly, the potential signing of Jackson would be a step down for Newcastle, as suggested by Lebouf.
