Chelsea are set for another busy summer transfer window as they plan to revamp their squad in the hope of mounting a title challenge next season.
The Blues are said to be on the lookout for a striker, centre back, and a right-footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
More importantly, they are willing to sell at least 7 to 8 players to fund their business this summer.
Whilst a striker is the main priority, one area that certainly doesn’t need strengthening is midfield, arguably the squad's strongest area.
However, TEAMtalk have reported Chelsea are monitoring Palace star Adam Wharton, but Liverpool and Manchester United are also interested
On the back of a strong season at Selhurst Park, Wharton has understandably been attracting interest from a number of clubs.

The report states Chelsea have been tracking Wharton since he was at Blackburn and their interest in him comes from their desire to build a Premier League-winning squad.
TEAMtalk add that the Blues may have to make an offer in excess of £60m if they are to have any chance of landing the 21-year-old.
Why Wharton to Chelsea does not make sense
Chelsea already boasts one of the biggest squads in the Premier League, and their midfield, in particular, is stacked with players.
In addition to this, Chelsea’s midfield is set to be further bolstered this summer with the arrivals of Andrey Santos and Dario Essugo.
If the Blues do end up signing Wharton, he is likely to be another squad player, and the chances of him getting into the first team is highly unlikely.
