Former WWE writer comments on Chelsea Green's booking

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on how the company utilizes Chelsea Green on WWE television.

Speaking on Behind the Turnbuckle Studios' The Coach and Bro Show, Russo criticized Triple H's creative team for how Green was booked. He noted that the company took the Women's United States Championship away from Giulia, but it did not help her get over with wrestling fans.

"You know, we love Chelsea Green. They took the belt off Chelsea. They got it on Giulia, and they took the belt. While that belt was on Giulia, did they build her in any way, shape, or form? Guys, that's horrible booking. You use those belts to get those people over. WWE has done that again and again and again. They put the belt on somebody, and they do nothing with them when they have the title," Russo said.

Green is also aligned with Alba Fyre and Piper Niven on WWE SmackDown. Piper Niven is currently out of action with a major injury and hasn't been featured on television as of late. It will be fascinating to see how long the 34-year-old can hang onto the Women's United States Championship during her second reign with the title.
