Charlie Kirk's wife, Erika Kirk, first publicly addressed her husband's death in a video on September 12. She expressed her grief and also asserted that the work Charlie did will continue to spread. She also added:

“Our campus tour this fall will continue. There will be even more tours in the years to come.”

Erika has notably been chosen as the new Turning Point CEO and board chair. The organization also stated:

“Each stop is a chance to honor Charlie’s mission and keep the fight alive. We know he wouldn’t want us to surrender or be coerced into silence. Free speech is only free if we use our voices.”

Erika also spoke at Charlie's memorial service on Sunday. It was attended by many dignitaries, including the US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

Turning Point Action COO opens up about continuing Charlie Kirk's tour

Tyler Bowler, Turning Point Action's COO, has confirmed that the next events during the tour will take place in indoor locations only. He also said that there will be heightened security measures before and during each show.

About continuing the tour, Bowler told Desert News:

“This is who we are. This is the DNA of Turning Point. You can’t have Turning Point and walk away from the things that made us successful.” “That’s part of the mission, and goal of doing these things is that if you do them and you do it civilly, you win people over. ... That’s what Charlie had been doing. That’s his life’s work, and that’s a beautiful thing.”

Bowler also said that they respect Erika as the new CEO and added that she garners a lot of love and respect from "millions of Americans".
