After a wild NFL Sunday, we head to Las Vegas for the second leg of “Monday Night Football” doubleheader.
The Chargers head to Allegiant Stadium, which just held the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford showdown Saturday night, to face the Raiders in their home opener.
Los Angeles is a 3-point favorite on Monday as the Raiders look to get ahead of the Chargers, who looked like a well-oiled machine in Week 1.
The Chargers have had plenty of time to prepare for this matchup, having played their Week 1 game — a 27-21 win over the Chiefs — in Brazil on Sept. 5.
These teams have split their matchups down the middle the past 10 games, going 5-5, although the Chargers have gotten the better of it in betting terms.
The Chargers are 7-3 ATS against the Raiders in their past 10.

I suspect that the Chargers will continue this trend on Monday after an impressive Week 1 performance against the Chiefs. My eyes are on two player props from the home team in this game.
The Raiders will have tight end Brock Bowers, who has been nursing a knee injury, active for Monday night’s game, but I still have concerns. For starters, it appears that the Raiders are moving toward a run-first offense, where Bowers is not best suited to succeed.

Bowers played just 51 percent of snaps despite having a productive day on offense in a Week 1 victory over the Patriots. Las Vegas got backup tight end and former draft pick Michael Mayer heavily involved as well last week, playing 63 percent of snaps.
Now with Bowers battling an injury, the Raiders might use him even less.
I like Under 5.5 catches for Bowers (+102, BetRivers).
I also prefer to target Ashton Jeanty in the passing game.
In Week 1, Jeanty had 86 percent of snaps, near the top of the league among all running backs. Jeanty had just two catches last week, but this is a game they are expected to be trailing a fair bit.
Target Jeanty to nab Over 2.5 receptions at +112 on DraftKings.
THE PLAYS: Brock Bowers Under 5.5 receptions (+102, BetRivers); Ashton Jeanty Over 2.5 receptions (+112, DraftKings)
