The Los Angeles Chargers' offseason hasn't been quite what fans have expected, especially from a team that had ample amounts of cap space.
Yes, the moves made thus far have been serviceable, but they likely don't move the needle for the Chargers in 2025.
With free agency still rolling and the uncertainty surrounding Justin Herbert's weapons, can the Chargers still be players? Absolutely. But where could they look for additions?
NFL.com's Nick Shook has named San Francisco 49ers receiver Jauan Jennings as a fit for the Chargers.
“The Chargers have plenty of reason to like Tre Harris, who flashed during his rookie year starting with his very first training camp, but with Keenan Allen still unsigned, they still have room for a veteran who can contribute,” Shook wrote.
“This is where we enter the NFL's leading heel in 2025, Jennings, a receiver with 75 games of experience and 210 career receptions for 2,581 yards and 22 touchdowns. The Chargers can always use another proven pass catcher and Jennings is that."

Jennings a nice fit in L.A.
While Jennings won't be a blockbuster signing, he will bring production to L.A. and a downfield threat as well.
Jauan has posted over 600 yards in his last two seasons with the 49ers, along with 15 TDs.
That sort of production would be welcomed by the Chargers.
With not knowing if Keenan Allen is returning, getting Jennings on a cheap deal could be worthwhile for the Chargers, who are still swimming in cap space.
Time will tell if the Chargers have any intention of using that cap space, and signing Jennings certainly won't eat into that too much.
