Chad Ochocinco has bizarre defense of 49ers owner Jed York’s $140 prostitution bust

Chad Ochocinco was money-minded when hearing of Jed York’s prostitution bust this week.

The 49ers’ owner was arrested Sunday for attempting to pay only $140 for sex near a trailer park in East Palestine, Ohio.

While chatting about the topic on the “Night Cap” show with Shannon Sharpe and former NBA All-Star Joe Johnson, Ochocinco argued it “used to be $40.”

“The man tried to get a little hoo-ha,” the former NFL wide receiver said in defense of York. “Hey Joe, the man don’t want no ties. I’m getting in and I’m getting out. A hundred forty…”

He trailed off before adding “it used to be $40, you know, Joe. Inflation.”

The three hosts went on to chat over each other in arguing over the bizarre situation.

“(A cost of) $140 is a damn setup. That’s what $140 is,” Johnson argued.

“No, it ain’t no setup,” Ochocinco countered. “I’m telling you it used to be $40.

“Hey, listen to me, Joe. Let me talk to you. Let me tell you something. I used to be out there, you hear me? I done been out there before when I was in Cincinnati, Joe. It used to be $40.”

Ochocinco played nearly his full 11-year NFL career with the Bengals. He ended his career with a one-year stint with New England.

“Ocho, hoo-ha may have cost $150 20 years ago. Hoo-ha hires I don’t know what now,” Johnson claimed after saying if he was a billionaire, he wouldn’t be pulling up to a trailer park.

“Hoo-ha is high as hell for those that want to make you think — that want to make you think it’s worth what you’re paying for,” Ochocinco responded. “Hoo-ha don’t cost you nothing.

“Let me tell you something, it’s really free if you use your imagination and some lotion.”

Sharpe continued to side with Johnson, saying for $140 he would expect “the screen door to be hanging” when he walks in.

York’s incident spiraled after he responded to an advertisement from a prostitution website in Columbiana County, Ohio.

From there, he “arranged to have sexual activity with the female in exchange for $140.”

He was later taken into custody by an agent from the Mahoning Valley Human trafficking Task Force, who had orchestrated the sting operation.

Months prior, York filed for divorce from his wife, Danielle Belluomini.

The couple has two sons together, ages 13 and 10.

York cited “irreconcilable differences” in ending his marriage to Belluomini and is seeking joint legal and physical custody of his children, per York’s divorce petition obtained by The Post on Monday afternoon.
