The 2025 CFL season has been a rollercoaster, but two teams have emerged from the pack through nine weeks: the Sasketchewan Roughriders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The 7-1 Roughriders will be off in Week 10, but the Cats (6-2) will be in action and looking for a whopping seventh consecutive victory. Hamilton will host the 3-5 BC Lions on Thursday in what should be another dominant showing by the Tiger-Cats. The East Division-leading squad has enjoyed a +71 point differential during a winning streak that dates back to late June.
If Hamilton falters, Montreal will likely be right on its back. The Alouettes (5-3) are just one game back of the Tiger-Cats in the East Division, and they host the struggling Edmonton Elks (1-6) on Friday.
Saturday will feature a doubleheader, with the reigning-champion Argonauts (2-6) hosting the Redblacks (2-6), followed by the defending West Division-champion Blue Bombers (4-3) visiting the Stampeders (5-3) in Calgary.
