Wilt Chamberlain is the standard as far as statistics for centers are concerned in NBA history.
Cleveland Cavaliers big fella Jarrett Allen is catching up to Chamberlain in one surprising way.
The statistic on hand here is games with at least 25 points on at least 90% shooting from the floor.
Chamberlain leads the all-time list with 12 such games. Allen is now up to nine, according to Real Sports.

Allen's latest such game came Saturday night in Sacramento against the Kings.
He finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds in 33 minutes of Cleveland's win.
Allen shot 11-for-12 from the floor, which is approximately 92%.
The afro-rocking center also made 7-of-8 free throws.

It was all a part of James Harden's debut with Cleveland, and Allen's very first hoop came on a sweet feed from Harden. He'll likely get easy looks the rest of the way thanks to the passing vision of his new lefty teammate.
But even before Harden's arrival, Allen was capable of games like this. He rarely takes any sort of jump shots, and he does have good touch on the little hook shots he attempts.
Allen's shot chart certainly suggests someone who should shoot a high percentage. But even when his volume increases, he remains efficient, which is a quality trait to have, and one that has him unexpectedly close to Chamberlain on an all-time list.
