The Tyson family is looking at quite the Thursday night.
Jaylon Tyson and his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates will be playing an NBA playoff game in Toronto against the Raptors.
Jordyn Tyson, a wide receiver from Arizona State, is expected to be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The first round takes place Thursday night, overlapping with the Cavs' game for a good chunk of it.
The Cavs are being realistic about this. They'll let Jaylon know when his brother gets picked.
"We’re going to make sure he gets the news somehow," Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters. "I know it’s the playoffs, but that’s your family and your brother."

That's certainly cool. Social media sleuths will surely keep an eye out and probably capture the moment in the game when Jaylon appears to have been told the news.
Jordyn has spoken about the positive influence Jaylon has had on him. There are a lot of lessons you learn as a pro athlete that Jordyn will have passed down to him by his brother.
"Just being a pro, being an everyday guy, making good decisions and stuff like that," Jordyn told reporters during the pre-draft process. "And just knowing it's a business at the end of the day. You've got to earn your keep and prove yourself every day."
It's not impossible that Jordyn actually gets drafted by the Cleveland Browns, either, although recent mock drafts don't seem to see that quite lining up.
Regardless, the Tyson family is about to double its number of professional athletes on Thursday night -- one will be busy in the NBA playoffs while the other takes his first steps into the NFL.
