Don’t be shy, share a little with the cat! They’ve been sitting there patiently watching every single bite you take, and clearly they’re wondering when it’s finally their turn. How could you possibly resist those big eyes and tiny paws waiting beside your plate? As long as the food is kitty-safe, we say sharing is caring. Just be warned: one little taste might be all it takes for your dinner to become their dinner from now on.
You better set an extra place for the cat because they’re not planning on missing family dinner. They’ve already claimed a chair, so all that’s left is a plate and whatever delicious meal everyone else is having. Leaving kitty to eat on the floor while the hoomans dine together just won’t do. They’re part of this family, after all, and they expect the dinner table treatment to match.
That’s the occupational hazard of letting the cat sit at the dinner table. One minute they’re being a perfectly polite little guest, and the next their entire face is buried in the chicken. Manners can only get you so far when dinner smells THAT good. At that point, there’s really no going back either. The chicken has been claimed, the kitty has committed to the feast, and we hope everyone else at the table already got their serving.
