Cat lovers reunited with their lost cat on a bike ride after a year of searching for their escaped kitty: 'Our family became whole again'

It's funny how enticing a soft bed is after you've been camping. Even after only a weekend in the wilderness, most house-bound humans will gladly take a hot shower, slip into pajamas, and crawl under their down comforter into their warm beds. Now imagine a year out in the wild! This cat was probably sprinting back to their full food bowl, their warm spot in the window sill, and the cozy snuggles with their favorite humans. 

That's how you know a cat really loves you and your comfy home. Purrhaps the wild is fun sometimes, but so is the solace of knowing you have a warm bed, a canned meal, and head scratches waiting for you at home.
