Carl Radke called out that “uncomfortable” hug between West Wilson and then-married Amanda Batula during Tuesday’s episode of “Summer House.”

In the pre-finale episode, which was filmed in August 2025, Radke and Kyle Cooke almost came to blows after the cast called the latter out for making decisions about his career without considering Batula.

However, as the cast got involved to prevent the two best friends from fighting, Wilson was focused on keeping Batula safe.

During Wednesday’s “Watch What Happens Live,” Radke said, “You don’t touch women in their midriff or their neck if they are in a committed relationship like that.” Bravo

In one instance, as Batula tried to calm Cooke down, Wilson came up behind her and whispered in her ear before trying to pull her back by her midriff.

However, once things cooled down, Wilson and the graphic designer shared a rather intimate hug away from their friends. While pressed together, the sports journalist cradled her head in his hands and kissed the side of her head multiple times as she cried into his shoulder.

Once the two pulled away from their hug, they said “I love you” as Wilson made sure she was OK.

In that moment, even Batula called out a protective Wilson “for pulling [his] chair next to [her]” when the fight kicked off.

After the episode aired, Radke sat down with Andy Cohen and “Vanderpump Rules” alum Ariana Madix for a “Watch What Happens Live” discussion of the episode.

When asked what his thoughts were when seeing Wilson be so protective of Batula, the Soft Bar + Cafe owner said, “It’s uncomfortable to watch. I will say, some of West’s hands on a woman who’s married, I’m not cool with.

“Like you don’t touch women in their midriff or their neck if they are in a committed relationship like that,” he continued. “I don’t care how friendly you are, some of the touching watching is really uncomfortable and not OK.”

During the “WWHL” episode, Radke also told Cohen he doesn’t think Wilson and Batula’s relationship will make it in the long run. He also revealed that although he has spoken to Batula, he has completely stonewalled Wilson.

Fans have been watching the latest season of “Summer House” with a different lens after Batula and Wilson revealed their relationship went from platonic to romantic shortly after she split from her husband of four years, Cooke.

Since then, the cast of “Summer House” has eviscerated the new couple, with Ciara Miller, who dated Wilson and was on the road to reconciling with him, dubbing her former best friend, Batula, a “snake” in a leaked audio from the reunion.

As for Cooke, he has expressed worry over Batula’s mental health due to the backlash while slamming Wilson as a “schmuck.”

Meanwhile, Page Six revealed Wilson had been in an “exclusive relationship” with another woman when his romance with Batula was exposed.
