Cardi B sparks romance rumors with Nigerian footballer Okoye Maduka

Cardi B might have a new beau in her life.

The Grammy-winning rapper has been recently photographed with Nigerian footballer Okoye Maduka. 

The two were seen sitting next to one another during the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday, July 8. In the video, Maduka is seen helping Cardi into her seat by taking her hand. The interaction between the two immediately got fans excited about a potential romance brewing between the two.

"Now that’s who she should be locking in," one fan wrote in the comment section, seemingly throwing a jab at her ex Stefon Diggs.

"If I was cardi I'd leave steffon digs, gotta get myself something new and exciting," another fan wrote.

"Whoever did that seating arrangements give them a raise!!!" a fan responded.

The video began making rounds on the internet, which followed another of the two laughing together on a Paris balcony, furthering the speculation.

At this time, neither Cardi nor Maduka have confirmed a romance.

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs' Relationship

The rapper being spotted with Maduka follows her relationship with Stefon Diggs last year. The two announced that they were together after several sightings, including an appearance at the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics Eastern Conference Semifinals last season.

In November, they welcomed their first baby together, but a few months after their son's birth, their relationship seemed to go south, igniting breakup rumors.

Neither of them shared that they had split, but when Cardi said she defended him against BIA, it became clear that something was not right.

 “Just because I ain’t f—ing with my baby daddy doesn't mean you get to talk about my baby daddy,” Cardi said to the crowd in Diggs' defense back in February. 

The two have since moved on past that moment, and Diggs was seen supporting Cardi during the remainder of her tour. Cardi returned the favor and appeared at Diggs' Mother's Day event back in May, where it seemed that things were looking up for the couple.

It's still unclear where she and Diggs stand at the moment. He has also not spoken out amid the rumored romance between Cardi and Maduka.
