While headlines swirl around her rumored split from NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, Cardi B is shifting the focus to something entirely different: a beauty brand years in the making.
The Grammy-winning artist announced this week that she’s launching a new haircare line called Grow-Good Beauty, marking her official entry into the competitive beauty space. The reveal came via social media, where Cardi shared a promotional video in which she opened up about her personal hair journey.

“When I was younger, I really used to hate my hair,” she said in the clip. “Now that I’m older, I grew to love it, appreciate it… it’s really a part of me.”
For longtime fans, the move may not come as a surprise. Though Cardi B is widely known for bold, colorful wigs and ever-changing styles, she has periodically shown off her natural hair online. In recent years, she’s posted videos of her routine, including DIY treatments such as an avocado-and-mayonnaise mask. Her hair, which now reaches close to her waist, has become a point of pride.
Back in 2023, Cardi hinted that something bigger was in the works. At the time, she addressed questions about how she achieved her length, explaining that the process wasn’t quick. “It took me [from] 2016 until now to grow my hair,” she said then, adding that she wasn’t ready to share her methods because she wanted to “test it out first on myself.”
That patience appears to have paid off. Grow-Good Beauty is slated to debut in April 2026, according to the brand’s website.
In the new promotional video, Cardi made it clear that the line reflects more than just a business decision. She described the project as an extension of Belcalis — her birth name — calling herself “a Bronx girl, mother of 4, walking down the block, being the baddest b*tch.”
“I am very passionate about this,” she said.

The launch comes at a moment when public attention has centered on her personal life, particularly speculation about her relationship with Diggs. But as the chatter continues, Cardi B is steering the conversation toward entrepreneurship — and a product she says has been years in development.
