"I hate choreography, it's like math to me," the rapper said.

Cardi B gives her all whenever she’s on stage — but Beyoncé is just next level.
In an Allure cover story interview published Tuesday (March 24), the rapper went behind the scenes of her Little Miss Drama Tour and got real about the parts of performing she’s been struggling with, from figuring out how to be present for her kids on the road to keeping up with her younger backup dancers. “You’re in your twenties, ain’t you?” she apparently said at one point during a rehearsal, speaking to her fellow performers after struggling to mimic one of their more complicated moves.
She also noted that her attendance at the Cowboy Carter Tour last year doubled as research for her own trek — but Cardi said of Queen Bey’s performance, “That was way crazy.”
“That’s way removed from what I could do,” the Bronx native added. “I hate choreography, it’s like math to me. I don’t have much of a rhythm like that. I could rap all day. But dancing is like, ugh.”
The Cowboy Carter Tour ran from late April through the end of July last year, grossing $407.6 million across 1.6 million tickets sold and 32 shows. Cardi attended on of Bey’s June performances in France, two years after the hip-hop star popped up at a Renaissance Tour show.
Cardi is now in the midst of her own trek, which kicked off in February and has stops planned through mid-April. It supports her 2025 album, Little Miss Drama, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
While the tour has been a celebratory affair, the Whipshots founder told Allure that she was unsure of how she was going to juggle mom life with being on the road now that the kids she shares with ex Offset — Kulture, Wave and Blossom — are starting to enter school.
“Kulture’s in school, and her school don’t play that s–t,” Cardi said, shooting down the idea of bringing her oldest on tour. She also added that she doesn’t want her son to miss out on his extracurricular sports just to join her on the road. “So I just be like, ‘How the f–k am I gonna make this s–t f–king work?’”
