Cardi B is clapping back at fans who are urging her to stay single following her split from Stefon Diggs.
“I’ve been seeing some suggestions like, ‘I want her to be single, I want her to focus on herself.’ Bitch, I’m not going to be single for the rest of my life,” she said on Wednesday, per a recording posted on X.
“I’ve been single throughout my whole tour,” the rapper argued. “Single, not talking to nobody, not entertaining nobody, not anything.”
Now, the 33-year-old said she has been “going outside, chilling with friends, I’ve been vacationing, I’ve been drinking I’ve been having fun. I’ve been having a ball.”
“But even me and my friends, even when we have a ball, we need some entertainment. Because at the end of the day baby, entertainment is needed.”
Cardi admitted she should be “a little bit more exclusive” with the men she sees, but won’t apologize for dating people.
“Could I pick better men? Probably. Maybe. So, whatever,” she confessed.
“I know you guys expect me to be single — I’m not gonna be single forever. I need to be entertained. Life is cool. Life is everything. But it’s just like, all right, the p—y needs love too,” she concluded.
Her passionate rant comes weeks after she sparked dating rumors with Nigerian soccer star Maduka Okoye. The two were spotted flirting at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.
On Monday, Page Six reported that the duo were spotted dining in Italy.
Per video obtained by TMZ, Okoye and Cardi (real name: Belcalis Almánzar) grabbed a bite at Gio’s restaurant at the St. Regis with a group of other men.
But just as things appeared to heat up between Cardi and the athlete, his ex Jelicia Westhoff accused him of being a deadbeat dad to their 3-year-old son, Isaiah Emil Jr. Okoye.
“Imagine i shut my f–king mouth, Lied about what YOU did to me, so you Could continue YOUR career and all you do is embarrasing [sic] US,” the model wrote and later deleted, according to screenshots shared online.
Westhoff claimed Okoye, 26, doesn’t call or see their son because he is too “busy punishing his mother and being a baddie on social media.”

She also claimed Okoye didn’t visit their toddler when he was hospitalized this past December and that he allegedly cheated on her with both men and women and allegedly physically abused her.
In an exclusive statement to Page Six, Westhoff said she has “nothing against” Cardi.
“[It’s] about you going out with any woman in public knowing that you don’t take care of your child,” she told us.
The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker’s last public relationship was with Diggs.
The on-again, off-again couple debuted their romance in May 2025 on the heels of Cardi and estranged husband Offset’s split.
She and the NFL player welcomed their son last November. Diggs has fathered five other kids.
