In a recent episode of the "Straight to Cam" podcast, Cameron Brink recalled her own "welcome to the league" moment, courtesy of league vet Tina Charles.

"You’ll make a move, and then you’ll be running down the court next to her, and she’ll be like, ‘You should have done this. Why didn’t you go do that move? I’m guarding you this way. What are you doing?’" Brink explained. "So I would say that was my welcome to the league moment."

Unfortunately, Brink didn't get to play too many games in 2024 before she tore her ACL and meniscus and missed the rest of the season. Sparks fans are optimistic that she will return to the floor later this month for the team.

She returned to practice in a limited fashion in early July in what reporter Justin Russo described as "skeleton work."
