Cam Skattebo delivers must-see highlight at New York Giants training camp

There are training camp highlights, and then there is New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo's highlight from the team's most recent 2025 training camp practice.

Skattebo showed off everything that makes him a special football player in this clip.

And, no, it's not a highlight of the former Arizona State star dashing through the defense for a long touchdown. Instead, it's a clip that highlights his awareness and ability to keep plays alive even when they seem dead.

While Skattebo was ultimately ruled out of bounds, it's plays like this that will endear him to the coaching staff and boost his already infectious reputation in the locker room.

Cam Skattebo is in a training camp competition with incumbent starter Tyrone Tracy for the bulk of the New York Giants' carries in 2025. And while it probably won't happen right away, there's a good chance that he ends up overtaking Tracy as the team's lead back as a rookie.

Skattebo ended the 2024 season with a remarkable 1,711 yards and 21 touchdowns.
