In the same way that Darnell Washington catches the eye when he joins the Pittsburgh Steelers' huddle, Calvin Austin draws attention, too.
Just for the opposite reason.
Austin is a little dude, and he looks much smaller than most of his taller, stronger teammates.
It hasn't stopped Austin from being a speedy and successful NFL receiver. But it does create a few challenges.
He's had to overcome his lack of height at every turn. And in getting to the WR2 spot on the Steelers' depth chart, he's certainly done that.

Calvin Austin is officially 5-foot-9, to go with 162 pounds.
That's actually taller than his RB teammate, Jaylen Warren, who is listed at 5-foot-8.
It is a big contrast to Washington (6-7) and also the super strong DK Metcalf (6-4).

Austin ran a blistering 40 coming out of Memphis, at 4.32 seconds.
It helped him be taken in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Steelers at pick No. 138 overall.
He certainly makes up for his lack of size with a lot of speed.
