California freeway hell as two people ejected sparking lane closures through rush hour

Two people were killed after being ejected in a deadly crash on the 5 Freeway early Thursday, with lane closures disrupting the rush hour commute.

The grisly smash on an off-ramp on the southbound side in Anaheim led to heavy traffic as drivers tried to get to work.

Investigators believe the vehicle missed an exit before crashing about 15 feet down an embankment, ejecting two of the four people inside. KTLA

Four people were in the vehicle. Traffic has been snarled in the area and CHP has issued a SigAlert with the closure of two southbound lanes.
