California CEO made staff trawl raunchy gay massage website for ‘highly personal services:’ suit

A recruitment CEO made her staff use a sexually explicit website to find her “in-home” masseuses — who then refused to visit her due to her “abusive” behavior, a lawsuit has claimed.

Amy Kossoris, owner of LA-based Kossoris Search Inc, asked a worker to procure a male at-home massage therapist in May 2025, the papers say. 

Kossoris directed the employees to find one “willing to perform specific and highly personal massage services” and to use the LGBT site, Masseurfinder.com, the suit reads.

It goes on to say workers were exposed to sexually explicit content on the racy site. 

“Plaintiff and her co-workers were required to review sexualized content or otherwise inappropriate content and communicate with prospective providers about personal service details,” the papers say.

The site advertises itself as “the web’s best directory of LGBTQI-friendly massage therapists and bodyworkers in the United States.”

Worker Kaynaz Farhood claims Masseurfinder.com was blocked by company filters so she was forced to use her personal device to find the candidates.

But the masseuses continually declined the requests “due to safety concerns, including those who complained of Amy’s past history of being physically and verbally aggressive, ” the suit continues.

Employees complained about the assignment in June 2025. They were told to keep searching for an in-home male therapist for Kossoris but to stop using Masseurfinder.com, according to the lawsuit.

Farhood complained the assignment “crossed professional boundaries” and made her “feel deeply uncomfortable”, the papers say.

A manager then informed the employees that they would be fired if they didn’t “provide multiple screened masseuses daily, advertise anonymously on several online platforms, and personally screen candidates before forwarding them to Kossoris,” the suit reads.

Farhood resigned in September 2025 after being demoted to “cold caller”, stripped of her office, and forced to sit in the hallway facing surveillance cameras, according to the documents.

At one point Kossoris yelled Farhood didn’t deserve an office in front of other staffers, the papers say. Farhood is suing for damages and attorney fees.

The Kossoris website says “Amy Kossoris is an established and internationally recognized legal recruiter who has worked with top-ranked law firms for over 20 years.”

It adds: “Amy never delegates job placements to other staff, and personally executes every placement with extreme care.”
