The Chicago Bulls seemingly had the easiest pick in the 2026 NBA Draft because almost everyone already knew Caleb Wilson would be the fourth overall pick. It is a predictable selection, but it is also a great fit for what the Bulls are building.
After parting ways with the previous front office and head coach Billy Donovan, the Bulls are rebuilding the organization. With Wilson, they have the building block they need to become a top team once again.
Caleb Wilson is aiming for Michael Jordan's legacy on the Bulls
Since Wilson already expected to be part of the Bulls, he has done his research on the players he is looking to surpass. The Bulls have one player who is head and shoulders above the rest: Michael Jordan.
As the new potential franchise player for the Bulls, it seems Wilson has high aspirations. He is aiming high because he wants to be the best Bulls player of all time, but also the greatest player of all time, bar none.

One cannot fault Wilson's confidence and aspirations because he has all the tools to become a top player. Offensively, he is not elite just yet, but he has all the physical traits and talent to become a great player, which is all the Bulls are looking for.
"I want to be the greatest of all time... Y’all got one of the goats in y’all history, so it’s time for another one," Wilson said about his goal with the Bulls.
Every top prospect needs to be confident in themselves because that will be a big reason why they are successful. Wilson is not lacking confidence, so he will continue to be one of the top players for the Bulls moving forward alongside Matas Buzelis.
