Caleb Williams may have cemented his place in Chicago sports history already.
The young Bears quarterback forced the NFC divisional round matchup with the Rams into overtime Sunday when he made a miraculous throw into the end zone for a game-tying touchdown.
With 18 seconds left in regulation, the Rams’ defense swarmed Williams as he retreated 30-plus yards out of the pocket, trying to buy time for a throw.

Kmet created separation late from the defender to open a window for the throw.
The Bears hit the field goal to erase the 17-10 deficit Chicago was looking at going into the final drive to even the score at 17 apiece.
Chicago ended up losing in overtime, 20-17, after a Williams interception and a 42-yard field goal from Harrison Mevis.
The Rams will visit the Seahawks in next Sunday’s NFC Championship.
