Cal Raleigh’s girlfriend, Hannah Shimek, shared a couple's photo on her Instagram story on Friday, cheering him on in the 2025 AL MVP race. On Thursday, the MVP voting closed; Aaron Judge won with 355 points for the third time in his career, and Raleigh got 335 votes.
“Always my MVP,” Shimek wrote a comforting message on her story.

Cal Raleigh posted an elite performance with a .247 batting average, 60 homers and 125 RBIs this season. He became the seventh player to hit 60 homers in a season, surpassing the record of Yankees hitter Mickey Mantle (54) and securing the position as the first switch-hitter to hit 20+ homers from each side of the plate.

Hannah Shimek is from North Carolina and a Softball and Baseball Hitting Instructor. She won two national championships while playing for Southern Oregon University.
