WNBA star Caitlin Clark sent sneaker fans into a frenzy on Monday when she launched her latest Kobe Brant sneaker collaboration.
The highly anticipated Kobe V Protro, designed by the 23-year-old Indiana Fever star and Nike, sold out within minutes of launching in select markets.
Some individuals were fortunate enough to secure a pair of the $190 shoes. However, others complained on social media that they had already sold out when they attempted to purchase a pair.
"Ummm please release more shoe counts I wasn't able to get mine," one person commented on Nike's Instagram video announcing the shoe's release.
"They selling out in seconds lol,"another person wrote.
Clark's latest iteration of the late basketball star's sneakers features midnight, navy, bright crimson, and vibrant hints of gold.
Nike says the latest Kobe design takes a traditional basketball shoe and makes it better."
The sneakers are engineered with a flexible Air Zoom design and a lightweight upper, according to the shoe line's product description.
