The Indiana Fever face off with the Brazilian National Team in Iowa before the start of the WNBA regular season.
It’s an incredibly anticipated matchup, with Fever star Caitlin Clark returning to the state where she dominated as a Hawkeye in college.
ESPN recently announced that Clark’s return to Iowa will air on Sunday, May 4, at 4 p.m. ET.
Like most contests that Clark appears in, the game has completely sold out, with all 15,000 tickets being purchased soon after release. On the resale market, tickets will cost fans around $175 apiece without fees.
Everyone wants to see Clark wherever she plays, but with the guard making her much-anticipated return to Iowa, it's no surprise how big of a draw she is.
“Countless Hawkeye fans have become Fever fans, and we consider them family,” Fever president of basketball operations Kelly Krauskopf said in a statement when the game was initially announced. “That’s what will make this preseason matchup so special for us.”
