The Fever are holding their breath about Caitlin Clark again.
The WNBA ALL-Star appeared to re-injure her groin with 39.6 seconds left in Tuesday’s 85-77 win over the Sun at TD Garden in Boston.
After making an assist in the waning seconds, Clark grabbed her groin and then walked to the bench in visible pain.

Clark “felt a little something in her groin,” and will be re-evaluated, Fever head coach Stephanie White told reporters after the game
Clark injured her groin on June 24, forcing her to miss five consecutive games, including the Commissioner’s Cup final against the Lynx.
Even before her groin injury, Clark missed another five games this season because of a left quad injury.

Clark finished the game Tuesday with 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
