Bunnie Xo Claps Back at Critic of Her IVF Journey: ‘How Dare You Shame Any Woman Who Decides to Have a Baby at Any Age?’

Dumb Blonde Podcast host Bunnie Xo is firing back against an online troll who criticized her and husband Jelly Roll‘s journey to have a baby through IVF.

On her Instagram Stories, Bunnie shared a TikTok video in which a woman is seen saying, “I think [Bunnie Xo’s] now on an IVF journey. Isn’t she 45 years old? … [Jelly Roll] is so unhealthy looking. I’m saying it.”

In a series of Instagram Stories, Bunnie Xo wasted no time firing back at the commenter, captioning her response video: “I’m about to shut this shriveled prune down.”

“I don’t think you’re in any position to talk about what anybody’s doing with their health,” Bunnie said, before acknowledging, “Yes, I have decided at the ripe age of 45 that I would love to hear the pitter-patter of little feet with the man that I’ve been with for almost a decade.

“Not only am I financially in a great place to raise a child, but I’m also spiritually and mentally in a great place because I have been in the darkest places before and I drug myself out from the depths of hell,” Bunnie added. “Did you know that I was pregnant three times before we decided to do this IVF? I am so thankful that God did not let me have a baby when I was 20 years old because that poor child would have been through so much sh– with me. This is the perfect age.”

After giving background on her IVF journey, Bunnie Xo offered some sharp words in response to the online commentator. “How dare you shame any woman who decides to have a baby at any age? I cannot wait until you go to meet your maker because you are so Christian and sitting on a high horse. And in that moment, when you’re trying to get into the pearly gates, he’s gonna bring up your TikTok page where you do nothing but gossip and tear people down.”

Bunnie Xo then quoted biblical scriptures and noted, “I was raised Southern Pentecostal. We can go toe to toe, my little raisin.”

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO first revealed that they were attempting to have children through in vitro fertilization in June 2024. The couple married in 2016, and while they do not have biological children together, they are raising Jelly Roll’s son Noah Buddy and daughter Bailee Ann from previous relationships.
