The Buffalo Bills are already getting what they paid for with Joey Bosa. The former Charger already has three forced fumbles on the season, and he registered his first sack as a Bill in Sunday's win over the New York Jets.
Another noteworthy event took place in the Week 2 win for Buffalo, though. Josh Allen suffered a big hit to the nose, which caused a large gush of blood. Allen returned to the game shortly after. Bosa was asked about his quarterback's gutsy performance, and he revealed something that Allen asked of him.
"He’s an absolute beast," Bosa said via Mike Garafolo. "It’s funny. He’s like, ‘AlI need from you is one strip sack,’ and I went out there and got it at the end of the game so I’m happy I was able to do something for him.”
Bosa had a terrific performance against the Jets, getting pressure on seven snaps and forcing two fumbles. If he can keep that level of play up on a consistent basis, specifically in the postseason, he may end up being the piece the Bills had long been searching for.
