The Buffalo Bills will open the Week 3 slate on Thursday night when they play host to the 0-2 Miami Dolphins. Josh Allen has never lost to Miami in Buffalo, and the Bills have the chance to all but end the Dolphins season by sending them to 0-3.
Buffalo had a tremendous defensive performance against the New York Jets, allowing less than 200 yards of total offense. That said, they will be without two of their stars on Thursday.
All-Pro linebacker Matt Milano will miss Week 3 with a pectoral injury. He suffered the injury in Week 2 against the Jets. Ed Oliver missed Week 2 against the Jets with an ankle injury he sustained in practice last week, and will be out once again on Thursday.
"Bills HC Sean McDermott told [the Extra Point on WGR] that DT Ed Oliver (ankle) and LB Matt Milano (pectoral) will be out for Thursday night’s game vs. the Dolphins," Adam Schefter reports.
Buffalo will continue to lean on young stars Deone Walker and T.J. Sanders on the defensive interior. Joe Andreesen an Dorian Strong will play larger roles next to Terrel Bernard, as well.
