Giannis Antetokounmpo is off to as good a start to the season as any player in NBA history.
Seriously, the Milwaukee Bucks' superstar is putting up numbers never seen before.
On Friday night against the Toronto Raptors, Giannis finished with:
- 31 points
- 20 rebounds
- 7 assists
- 78.6% FG

He's only the fourth player in NBA history to record those stats in the same game, joining Wilt Chamberlain, Bob Pettit and Walt Bellamy, according to the official NBA X account.
Even more notably, no one has ever started the season with a two-game stretch like Giannis.
The thresholds for this category, put out by the official NBA History account, are 60 points, 30 rebounds and 10 assists. No one has had at least all three of those through the first two games of a season, ever, before Antetokounmpo.
Giannis has even more than those marks, though.
Through two games, Antetokounmpo has scored 68 points, grabbed 34 rebounds and dished out 12 assists.

The Bucks are a new look this season with no more Damian Lillard and now with Myles Turner on board. Brook Lopez is gone, too.
It's not totally clear if it's a successful roster construction for the long run.
But what is clear is that Giannis is as good as ever.
And as long as that's true, the Bucks will still be very tough to beat.
