Just a few hours before the NBA trade deadline, the Bucks made a major decision regarding Giannis Antetokounmpo.
They came to the conclusion that they wouldn't move their star player before the deadline today, and were moving forward with him for the rest of the season.
Just moments after they made it clear Giannis was here to stay for the remainder of the season, they made a trade for a 6-foot-11 center.
What 6-foot-11 center did the Bucks trade for?
ESPN's Shams Charania reported the Bucks traded Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey in exchange for Suns' players Nick Richards and Nigel Hayes-Davis.
The Suns' main motivation behind this deal was to get under the tax.
It was noted that all four players in the trade are on expiring contracts.
Richards has played 28 games with the Suns this season, averaging just 9.1 minutes.
After the Giannis news, the Bucks could still be active in the coming hours, as they shift their focus to other players they might try to trade away or acquire.
