Mumbai: The Sebi has fined BSE ₹25 lakh for failing to provide equal and transparent access to corporate disclosures to all stakeholders and for lapses in monitoring mechanism on client code modifications.

"BSE must have internal controls on how to manage and handle such corporate announcements. The availability of information about listed companies with employees of LCM (listing compliance monitoring) of BSE and its paid subscribers before it is available to general investors through its website of BSE has impaired impartiality," Sebi said.
