Manchester United’s transfer window has picked up pace — and Bryan Mbeumo may have just given the clearest sign yet that he’s ready to swap stripes for Red.
The Brentford forward has sparked serious buzz online after an improved bid reportedly was sent to his club. And his subtle moves off the pitch are starting to raise eyebrows.
The 25-year-old Cameroon international is high on United’s wish list this summer. After a strong season with the Bees, he’s become one of the Premier League’s most wanted wingers.
Reports suggest United have now submitted a new offer worth over £60 million. Their first bid — which included add-ons — didn’t quite hit the mark.
Still, Mbeumo has made it clear behind the scenes that he prefers a move to Old Trafford.
Despite interest from Arsenal, Spurs, and Newcastle, he’s eyeing Manchester — and it seems United may be close to buzzing Brentford’s door down for real.

Social media clues stir Bryan Mbeumo transfer talk
While United fans refresh their feeds for transfer news, many noticed something curious. Mbeumo and United defender Leny Yoro are now following each other on Instagram.
Yoro, who joined United last summer, even liked Mbeumo’s latest holiday snaps — which included visits to Roland Garros and Niagara Falls.
The red poncho he wore there? Let’s just say fans aren’t ignoring the color scheme.
To add more fuel, Mbeumo’s post read simply: “Time off so far” — a calm caption, but maybe one hiding bigger things to come.
It’s also reported that Andre Onana has reached out to his Cameroon teammate about linking up at club level. That’s one way to get an assist before the season even starts.
Ruben Amorim’s pre-season starts in early July, and United want new faces in place by then. With Matheus Cunha already through the door, Mbeumo could be next to join the rebuild.
