The Frank & Barbara Broyles Foundation announced the 2025 recipients of the High School Broyles Award to the top assistant high school football coaches in each participating state.
Launched in 2019, the High School Broyles Award is an extension of the Broyles Award, given to the nation's top assistant coach in college football since 1996. It is named for Frank Broyles - the longtime former University of Arkansas head coach and athletic director who mentored several assistants who became legendary coaches in their own right - and his wife Barbara.
The award is results-based, honoring the top-performing assistant coach based on the 2024 season. To be eligible, a coach must serve as a position coach or coordinator.
While character and integrity remain important components of the selection process, the primary focus is excellence in coaching results, aligned with the values and competitive spirit that defined Coach Frank Broyles' legacy.
