Entering Week 6, the Cleveland Browns are 3-2 on the season, and they have a real chance of making the playoffs this season.

It's still a bit of a long shot, but it's too soon to count the Browns out. Their defense has played well, and even Deshaun Watson has looked better than he ever has since joining the Browns. But as a rebuilding team, the Browns are going to sell, right?

Well, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, when it comes to coveted veteran wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, whose name has been popping up in trade rumors this season, the Browns reportedly have no plans to shop him this season.

Browns not planning to shop Jerry Jeudy in trade talks

"The Browns are improved and need veteran help, so my sense is while they are not actively shopping Jeudy, a strong offer could change that," Fowler writes.

Jeudy, a veteran wide receiver who has fallen down the depth chart in Cleveland with rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston taking over, with second-year WR Isaiah Bond factoring into the offense as well, is not being shopped by the Browns.

Normally, a rebuilding team like the Browns with a veteran WR like Jeudy, who's no longer a pivotal building block of the offense, would make a ton of sense as a trade chip.

He's not completely off the table, as the Browns would surely trade him if they get a strong offer, which could be a third-round pick, with anything more well out of a team's likely price range for someone like Jeudy.

Fowler's report indicates the Browns aren't shopping Jeudy right now, and instead are waiting for a club to make a strong offer. That likely means Jeudy isn't going anywhere.

Things could change over the next four weeks, especially if the Browns were to lose most, if not all, of their next four games, leading to a clear sell-off and major changes by the trade deadline.

But, considering how the team's played so far, it would be a bit of a surprise to see the Browns collapse like that by the trade deadline. If they don't, Jeudy appears likely to stay in Cleveland.

The Browns won't be shopping Jeudy, according to Fowler, so offers for the veteran WR will really need to go above and beyond to move the needle for Andrew Berry and Todd Monken to move on from the veteran WR.
